  1. Interesting entry, Rajiv. I’m not sure what sort of weather you have in your part of the world at this time of year, but it sounds pleasant. By the way, the prayer didn’t download on my computer. I will try back again and see if does – I love Hindi prayers.
Thanks too for commenting on my freshly pressed post!

  2. Hi mon
Nice to hear from you. Ok I will try to explain how’s the climate in India briefly. Climate in India varies from tropical in the south to temperate in the north. Basically there are four climatic groupings vis Tropical Wet, tropical Dry, Sub tropical humid and Mountains. Tropical Wet climate and Dry climate in India are more or less same, characterized by high temp all round the year and seasonal but heavy rainfall. Winters are long dry periods with temp averaging above 18 deg C and summer is HOT with temp averaging 50 deg C. mostly prevailing in western coasts of India and its Island groups (Laksdweep and Andaman &Nicobar islands) and some parts of southern States like Tamil Nadu.
Tropical Dry is mostly High Temperature with erratic and scanty rainfall. Mostly in Rajasthan, some parts of Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Sub Tropical Humid is prevalent in most of the North India characterized by hot summers and cold winters.
India’s northernmost areas are subject to montane or alpine climate, with snowfall in winters and pretty much pleasant summers.
The Post which are we talking about is about Chennai located east side of Indian coast.Chennai has a tropical climate esp tropical wet and dry climate. Weather is hot and humid most of the year and the coolest is dec -jan with temp as low as 18-19 dec C. And most of the rains occur between october and december. Cyclones in bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean sometime hit the city. You must have heard about “Tsunami” in 2009 in which millions of people lost their lives.

So when i went this time to Chennai it was altogether different weather which i have experienced in two years of my stay in Chennai

And regarding the Hindi Prayer. You can get it on Youtube. So just Buffer it and listen.
    have a nice time
