Bangladesh makes it to final of Asia Cup

In Writing on March 20, 2012 at 11:19 pm

Continuing their supreme form, unlike India,  Bangladesh beat Srilanka in  one of the league matches to qualify for the finals. Bangladesh, despite loosing early wickets, showed patience and perseverance. Sakib played some furious shots to come up with brilliant 56 runs 46 balls studded with 7 boundaries. Sakib was adjudged Man of match. In first innings Sri lanka played mediocre to put a target of 233 which was later reduced to 212 a/c to D/L method.

Now Bangladesh will play against Pakistan in finals.

  2. SL was poor throughout the tournament. i guess the constant cricket burnt them out. BD was surprisingly good – wasnt expecting them to show the resolve they did – but the childish stunt they tried to pull after the match ruined all the respect they had gained at least in pakistan.
