World of Hypocrites

In BobLife, Life, Writing on March 23, 2012 at 10:30 pm

To begin with:
hyp·o·crite/ˈhipəˌkrit/
Noun:
A person who indulges in hypocrisy.
Synonyms: dissembler – pharisee
Another One: Someone who hates it when people do certain things or talk shit about other people but they do it themselves.
Origin:
1175–1225; Middle English ipocrite < Old French < Late Latin hypocrita < Greek hypokritḗs a stage actor, hence one who pretends to be what he is not, equivalent to hypokrī́ ( nesthai ) ( see hypocrisy) + -tēs agent suffix

This world is full of such kind of people. This is sad but is TRUE. You have two options in front of them.
1) Expose them, or
2) Keep mum.
Option one is always better but not when the other is powerful and holds control on one and all. This not impossible though. But it is of no use if the other person is not listening to you and is not going to accept ones mistake.
In that case it is better to keep mum
Period.
If you agree and had experience something like this.. Do Share it.

Aaall iz Welllll !

In Blog, BobLife, Crazy on December 31, 2010 at 7:50 am

Phew… the day started with me getting up late. Blogging has some side effects too. I am much of a nocturnal, when it come to writing any piece how so ever good or bad it may be. Consequently I look tiresome. On top of that, a monotonous job which might induce sleep in any energetic chap. Courtesy, quarterly reviews  due this month end.

Any way, it’s evening other collegues had allready gone. Me planning to exit as soon i complete my work. My manager comes  ” You need to report to this office wef tommorow”. wth! I had plans with my brother who was to arrive here. I asked sir for how many days , soon came the reply ” no idea!”... sir ji what you doing “get an idea” I thought. I could realise, my heart beat increasing . It’s not that i dont love travelling, but the language factor steals the shine from the fun part.  ” Aaal iz well.. aal iz well… i console my heart… finally 3 idiot mantra helped poor heart to ease.

This brings me to the mantra” aaal iz wellll“. As protagigonist says in the movie” heart is very much like a child and  it fears most is change, an iota of change and it panics. You need to console it. You need to disguise the problem from him . It assures the poor chap that everything is alright, nothing to worry. so AAALLLL IZZZ WELLL 🙂

Get together

Peaceful warriors

Read Part 1: Chennai in November, Day 1 « Krazy Memoirs.

12 days of  rigorous training had filled our mind with nothing but jargons. These 12 days i felt like i am back to LIBA attending classes. And as usual, classes make me sleep ! baring a few where I manage to keep myself awake and occasionally make notes too. Every now and then you could see somebody talking about nostro-vostro, forex, KYC-AML, so on and so forth. We all badly needed a Break. And the moment came when it was decided conveyed to us that we would host a get-together where all who’s who of Our organization shall come.  every one got geared up to showcase their talent. Sujilesh & co. took the lead to arrange stuffs. Hotel was already booked and all instructions conveyed.

Hensein 2.0

It was 7 o’clock in the evening, when me and Vikash decided to go and check arrangements. By that time, Bhanumati madam was already pacing up & down. “Where are your colleagues? call them. madam will be coming soon“…Yes mam.

Meanwhile Guests from Zonal office started arriving. GM was accompanied by DGM, DRM and other dignitaries. The setup was formal and for once it looked like we are back to training centre. GM mam soon realised it “Make it informal, we are not here to take any class 🙂 “and soon chairs were rearranged. I volunteered to be the RJ of the day 😉  don’t be surprised. okie i didn’t play Bawra mann… 😛

Celebrations started with Pushpa mam giving welcome address. The evening started with guests trying to recall name of random people whoever stood. It was our time ! for 12 days continuously, we were introducing ourselves to them. It was their test… memory test. No surprises, they never failed it.

What followed was a stupendous show. Not only because I jumped into it 😛 on Ritus’s call but the participation was wonderful. The show started with K2H2 format dumb charades. it was more of showcase of talents. Dance performances of Pushpa madam and Shradhha and off course Prathish was awesome. Their pelvic thrust enthralled even the Oldies sitting amongst us. But the show stopper was the Song by none other than GM, DGM themselves and our faculty Mr Chnadra sekhar.  Watch it here.

subah subah "the morning"

Chennai in November, Day 1

In BobLife, Chennai, kerala, Places, Travel on December 4, 2010 at 12:55 am

Sunday morning… Chennai never used to have such nice weather at least not when i was here for two years for my post-grad. This was absolutely fine Sunday morning… a cool breeze and sky was cast with cloud… i called for a taxi… get me to Hotel Benz Park…It’s in T Nagar,

India - Chennai - busy T. Nagar market 2

anna u know na ! I sounded like i was lot familiar about Chennai… Though TNagar was next to my college at Nungambakkam but I never had the opportunity to stroll on these roads… I knew few places in Tnagar and very few roads through which i used to go to my friend’s place in Tambram.  By the time it started pouring. And you never know where in Chennai you get struck into traffic after rains.

It was nice (Okie, I did not expect to have our stay arrangements here). Room was double sharing and already somebody had checked in… I was the second guy and had few reservations about this first guy

hi myself Rajiv, from Kerala… Hello I am Vikas from Hyderabad..(after a long pause he asked)… are you a malayali ? No no, I am posted there… Thank god… maine socha kaun aayega room mae ( thank God, i was wondering who will come to my room ) …Vikas said with a broad grin on his face. And I settled in peacefully. We were wondering as to are we the only two people staying here or has some one come? We inquired at the reception… No sir, two more people have come… they are staying in room no 403…Ok.. Thanks!

Morning, we reached restaurant downstairs in time. I just went about picking idli, chutney and  Paneer paratha… kya yaar yahan bhi idli..Vikas lost his interest in breakfast …

At lounge we found,  Syamlal, Naveen, Saraswathy, Sharda, Saumya, Ashwin, Sujilesh and Preteesh waiting for the cab.

It took us about an hour to cut across Chennai Traffic to reach Training Center in Tenympet near SIET College.

It was unusual, seemed like  I was back in MBA classes, with a difference. Here at the RTC (Regional Training Center), the day started with a prayer (from an old Hindi movie “Ankush”-1986)

Itni shakti hame dena data…manka vishwas kamjor ho na… ham chale nek raste pe hamse… bhool kar bhi koi bhool ho naaa…” Check Out this  Video for the prayer…

To be Contd…
